1. Program Description
HabitGuard (habitguard.ai) provides AI-driven maintenance dispatch tools for property managers. Our SMS-based service allows tenants and property managers to communicate regarding maintenance requests, Tier-1 troubleshooting, vendor scheduling, and demo coordination.
HabitGuard serves three user groups under these Terms. Property managers access the service via web interface and agree to these Terms upon account creation. Tenants of property management clients opt in by initiating contact — texting the HabitGuard-assigned maintenance number provided by their property manager. The tenant's first inbound message constitutes consent to receive maintenance-related responses, and an opt-in confirmation message is sent automatically upon first contact. Vendors (field service contractors) receive an opt-in request before any dispatch content is delivered and must reply YES before job messages are sent.
2. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on user interaction. You can expect to receive messages when you initiate a maintenance request, when a status update occurs, when our AI agent requires more information to triage your issue, or when coordinating a product demo. All interactions are logged with timestamps to support compliance record generation for property managers. For vendors, messages include job assignment confirmations, status check-ins, and completion notifications, with frequency determined by active job volume.
3. Cost
Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
4. Opt-Out and Help Instructions
- STOP: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to our number. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.
- HELP: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword "HELP" for more assistance, or you can get help directly at brad@habitguard.ai.
5. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
