2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, and phone number when you request a demo or interact with our maintenance triage systems.

We may also collect usage data such as the content of SMS messages sent to or from a HabitGuard number as part of the maintenance coordination service, solely for the purpose of providing and improving that service. All maintenance-related interactions are logged with timestamps to generate compliance records in accordance with California Civil Code ยง 1941.1 habitability requirements.

3. SMS & Mobile Information Sharing (Carrier Compliance)

No mobile information, phone numbers, or SMS data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for any purpose.

SMS message content, mobile phone numbers, and SMS opt-in consent records are excluded from all other data sharing categories described in this policy. This information will not be shared, sold, rented, leased, or otherwise transferred to any third party for any reason, including marketing, advertising, analytics, or affiliate programs.

We do not sell, rent, or lease our customer lists, mobile numbers, or SMS subscriber information to third parties under any circumstances.

HabitGuard's SMS program is used solely for maintenance coordination, demo scheduling, and service notifications. It is not used for marketing or promotional messaging.

SMS data may only be disclosed to service providers strictly necessary to deliver the messaging service (e.g., our SMS infrastructure provider, Twilio), and only to the extent required to transmit messages on our behalf. These providers are contractually prohibited from using mobile data for their own marketing purposes.
